Gas Gas Spain has announced that Spanish rider Ivan Cervantes has elected to ride Gas Gas for the next 3 seasons. Ivan, a five times world indoor enduro champion will ride a EC 250 in the  Spanish and world Enduro championships. He will also assist in development of new enduro bikes and related products. Both Ivan and the CEO of Gas Gas, Ramon Puente, were especially pleased and excited about the new challenges presented to them. Mr Puente said , the arrival of a rider of Ivans caliber has been a big boost to Gas Gas Motos, and Gas Gas fans.

van said that the treatment and commitment Gas Gas has given him is incredible and Gas Gas has the vision and desire to win and build the world’s best off road motorcycles. I am convinced we can archive great things together. Referring to a beach race in Tunisia Ivan said, I am very happy to get my first victory on a Gas Gas. It is always important to get a good start with a new team. At first I was a little nervous, because everything was new to me, but it went smoothly and I enjoyed the race very much. The track was entirely on sand, a surface that I'm good at, but it rained in the hours leading up to the start creating many ruts. It was not easy, but on the EC450 It was good.
