Gas Gas first released this bike in 2007 as a response to the high maintenance, highly strung Japanese built 450cc enduro bike. Realistically not many owners use all the power of the current 450cc enduro bikes and allot of the time the extra power is working against them, but we all love 450,s because when you need or want the power its there. The Pampera has been conceived in response to this. It has a easy free revving engine that wont rip you arms out thus enabling you to get on the power early and hold corner speed. When you get to the big hills you still have all the advantages of the power of a 450cc bike. The toned down engine in the Pampera is basically the same as the FSR 450 without the fuel injection and slipper clutch. Another big advantage the Pampera has is it very low seat height which aids in rider control and confidence. The shorter wheel base enables the bike to turn exceptionally well while the overall chassis design maintains stability. The Pampera has added extras like pillion pegs and comftable seat to aid it duel purpose usage.
